Wheaton Regional Park

Bring the family over to the Wheaton Regional Park and enjoy a good time at this important area in Wheaton, MD. This park has more than 500 acres of space with numerous attractions available for the entire family to take part in.

Take part in one of the many recreational activities that are available to try out throughout much of the year. These include such activities as horseback riding, hiking or even ice skating. The park has numerous spaces for all of these activities although their availability varies based on the season.

Look for the Harper Family Log Cabin while out here in the City of Wheaton. The cabin is a log house that was dismantled and rebuilt in its current location to create a beautiful look at what life was like in such a building in the late nineteenth century.

Take the kids on a ride on the train or carousel at this park in Wheaton, Maryland. The train goes along the entire park and is based off of a Civil War-era Huntington engine. Meanwhile, the carousel operates during the summer season and dates back to 1915. It features an extended number of horses on a body that has been fully restored and refurbished over the years.
